Engineering Informatica Italia spa, in collaboration with its Lebanese partner Levantnet sarl , won its first contract in Lebanon and MENA area – Middle East and North Africa – with an eGovernment and e-Payment project for the management of public services.
This project is part of the process of internationalization started by the Engineering Group in the MENA area and of the investments plan launched by the company in the last two years for the development of innovative service models for citizens in markets abroad.
The project will use - for the first time in Lebanon - open source technologies, among which
Spagic, the industrial platform supporting the governance of SOA/BPM projects, developed by the Engineering’s OS Department.
Engineering will supply and implement the architecture, the personalization and development of the e-Government Service Bus, Public Portal and various e-services to citizens.
The project’s kick-off meeting is foreseen on 16 January 2012 , in Beirut.
